12/12/2007 - O'Scripttool 2.7 Released

"O'Scripttool" and "O'Scripttool Pro" owners now have access to the new version. This is an early release. It`s functional, but not feature complete. I`m focused right now on making all the stuff interconnected, and once I have this issue all sorted out, I`ll build more features into the individual scripts. This script can read older data files, and works off the same register/logon scripts. If both scripts are installed on one site, they will work off the same templates, and share a common menu, and registered user database.

11/18/2007 - New version of "Script Prompter" avialable

My scripts were written at different times, and were intended to be stand-alones. Now more customers are looking for packages that include multiple scripts, all combined via one user database and one log on form. While this can be done quite effectively, it`s a "piece of cake" via PHP. And since I`ve decided to offer some PHP solutions anyway, it makes a lot of sense to tie them together from the get-go. The current release of "Script Prompter" has been designed with this in mind. The goal is to have a collection of scripts that snap together like legos. Some pieces of this construction will share functions with current products, and will be available to previous purchasers of the old versions. Other pieces will be new scripts, either bundled together or separately, depending on how this all develops.

11/7/2007 - Gallery RE-WRITE

Well, one thing has led to another, and it looks like the code for "O'Script Gallery" is being given a pretty thorough overhaul. The upshot is that the "High Security" mode will be significantly tighter. This should address some issues concerning agressive hackers. However, it might also occasionally interfere with legitimate users.
This upcoming version (3.2) will probably include a security readme file, which will help admins understand the new secuity filters. If testing goes smoothly, I hope to have 3.2 ready this month.
